Our Innovations

Orientation Sessions

To begin with what exactly is the aim and mission of M.I.C.E Lab, we delivered a 2 hour orientation session to around 200, 2nd MBBS students and 200 1st MBBS students at Grant Medical College, JJ Hospital ,Mumbai. We actually showed them the lab and the pilot projects that were done during the inauguration. We also shared why did we start this lab and why do we want to the medical students to be a part of the medical innovation process?

Students showed great interests in the orientations sessions and got enthused to join into this journey.

5 Session Training

After the orientation sessions delivered to the MBBS students, the M.I.C.E Labs team had to brainstorm on delivering something that is quick, hands on and effective for the students to actually start using their creativity in performing some innovative ideas.

M.I.C.E Labs believes in training and sharing the knowledge required for innovating.

For any innovation required we are supposed to be aware of the tools that are available and that are required for innovation. Therefore at M.I.C.E Lab we have started a training course known as

“5 session” which power packs and focuses the students to work on a hands on tinkering course with all the available equipments and how is it used in a medical scenario.

So we have covered over 150 medical students from all years in training into the 5 session course to introduce them the necessary tools required for innovation.
